AUSTIN

Lake Austin is definitely the ideal place to paddle. The six kilometers of water dammed at both ends, so there is no strong current. BOSTON

Boston and Cambridge are full of history of navigation. Nine shelters Charles River line. Four belong to the clubs: Union, Riverside, Cambridge, and Community Rowing. Five belong to universities: MIT, Boston University, Harvard, Radcliffe, and northeast. Room navigation can be difficult depending on what club you contact some places require a sponsoring member. CHICAGO

Chicago, three rowing clubs are in different points of the "Y" river. The landing of the Chicago River Rowing and Paddling Centre is located at the base of the "Y" in the mouth River where it meets Lake Michigan. LOS ANGELES

Sunny Los Angeles offers a lot of great things for rowers, to the best you can in a row all year. There are very few days each year when the weather is still getting a great workout. MIAMI

PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia U.S. cities has been one of the original oars. And welcome to the infamous Boathouse Row and is home to hundreds of oarsmen and women. In any day of the week, you can find many boats that go from high school rowers collegiate club rowers. Philadelphia is home to dozens of races each year, including Dad Vail Regatta, Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the Independence Day Regatta and the Head of the Schuylkill. SAN DIEGO

Remo in San Diego is roughly located in Mission Bay, about six miles north of San Diego Airport, and flanked by Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The area is full restaurants, beach and bay bridges, and hotels. San Diego Rowing Club is located in Mission Beach, with ZLAC Rowing Club located in Pacific Beach. In general, because skiers, most navigation is done in the first hours or at dusk, but there are plenty of water, and the stage of evolution, with bird sanctuaries, sea pens in the world and local marine life.

SEATTLE

Boating in Seattle rather than mystical. Rowers often begin their day with release, while looking at the top of Mount Rainier, and seeing the reflection of Dawn of the city at a glance. Then there are a lot of water to choose from, each of which has a different taste and feel. Rowers can take a direction in a transport channel to the Puget Sound (the locks), where barges, ships and large fishing boats to along the coast. Rowing on Lake Union offers the opportunity to see the breathtaking skyline of Seattle. Turn north of Lake Union and Portage Bay is home to many houseboats up and down in the water. The Montlake Cut, or "cut", as is known, connects through the locks of Puget Sound to Lake Washington. Once through the cut, Husky rowers usually populate this area. Remo offers a spectacular view of Lake Washington from the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier.

Seattle has 26 districts that have their own character and charm. Fremont, near Lake Washington Rowing Club is a funky / artistic neighborhood full of boutiques, restaurants and pubs. In Fremont, you can visit the famous goblin who has spent his life under the bridge VW BUG Aurora or a rocket attached to a building or a statue of people waiting for the bus.

A few miles from Fremont is another neighborhood called Ballard. In Ballard, you can still hear the Swedish and Norwegian are talking in the streets. Ballard traditionally hosted the fishing industry in Seattle, which was dominated by Scandinavian immigrants. If you want fresh fish market, this is the place to go.

North of the university district is the Greenlake neighborhood. This lake is a popular race / biking / skating path around the entire lake (about 3 km). The north side of Greenlake has some coffee shops and a wonderful soup home of the big fish.

WASHINGTON, DC

Rowing in the capital of the country since early 1800. The old boat club in Washington, DC, Potomac Boat Club (about , 1869), is more than thirty years. Thompson Boat Center, a public school located a half mile of the river unless the Potomac Boat Club hosts the bulk of high school and college rowing programs in the area. Boat A Thompson Center, people can rent single sculls per hour, provided they can prove they have experience rowing. Obviously, are numerous tourist attractions in Washington, DC, but a couple of sites near the Potomac Boat Club and the Thompson Boat Center include the Iwo Jima Memorial and Arlington Cemetery National Cathedral, and a large number of monuments around the Smithsonian, and walking and shopping in historic Georgetown, Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. If near the capital Rowing Club, a nice place to visit during the weekend is the Eastern Market, an outdoor crafts and food market has been in place over 100 years. E 'across the street from the Metro East market.

A beautiful place to have lunch or dinner right on the Potomac River is Tony and Joe and Sequoia at the port of Georgetown in Washington. In summer, these restaurants are packed on weekends, and are perfect places for people watching.
